Generic Micronase (Glyburide) helps treat the symptoms of type 2 diabetes by making the organs involved in blood sugar production and reuptake more sensitive to the effects of insulin. Insulin is responsible for balancing the levels of glucose in the blood but this balance is disturbed in diabetic patients, leading to an overproduction of blood sugar that doesn't get reabsorbed. By stimulating the actions of insulin, these pills restore the natural blood sugar equilibrium. Using Generic Micronase (Glyburide) to control diabetes, significantly lowers the risk of related conditions, such as kidney disease, nerve damage, stroke and heart disease.

How does Generic Micronase (Glyburide) work?

Insulin is produced by the pancreas to regulate blood sugar levels. It does this by reducing the amount of glucose produced by the liver and increasing the uptake of glucose by muscle and fat tissues. Diabetes causes a drop in insulin production, which sets a chain reaction in motion - the liver will produce more sugar and less will be removed from the blood by body tissues. Generic Micronase (Glyburide) makes the liver, muscle and fat tissues more sensitive to the effects of natural insulin in the body, making it easier for these organs to perform their natural functions. As a result, blood sugar levels are stabilized once again.
